The S.F. Altar Boys were a San Francisco based punk rock group that existed between 1993 to 1998. Formed by singer/guitarist Matt Breen and bassist Chris 'Hellcat' Stewart the group recorded only one full length E.P. in 1994 titled S.F.M.F. The band was responsible for writing the song "Carnie showdown" featured in Todd Sheets horror movie The Shivers, the song sat in the number one positions of radio station 105.3fm 'punk rock playpen' for 11 weeks. Members of the band included Suicide Machines guitarist Lee Bone, 440 sixpack drummer Chris Scammin, and Walter Earl. After the success of groups first E.P. and a promising Vans Warped Tour the group disbanded and was never heard from again.
